Lynden Renwick has been every kind of attorney there is. He has practiced as a cross-border corporate attorney for one of the top three AmLaw 100 and Global 100 law firms, a commercial litigator, and General Counsel for a U.S. Defense Contractor.

 

An award-winning executive, Lynden was named one of Maryland’s ‘Very Important Professionals’ in 2018 for his leadership of a multi-million-dollar, woman-owned company. In 2020, Vanguard Law Magazine recognized him as one of America’s leading authorities on global data privacy laws.

An attorney in both the United States and Australia, Lynden now leads Out-House Attorneys, LLC. to provide the pre-eminent, on-demand, and low-cost legal solution.

  • Provided Outside General Counsel and In-House Overflow Support to a $12B global payment processing company, $2B visual collaboration SaaS, $100M reputation management SaaS, $50M cloud-based accounting SaaS, and $84B global investment bank.

  • Negotiated commercial contracts directly for/against over 30% of the Fortune 100 list.

  • Assisted one of the world’s largest global reinsurers to develop, license, and commercialize an AI-powered contract review tool.

  • Former SVP, General Counsel, and Data Security Officer of a $35M woman-owned professional services company and Federal Government contractor.

  • Negotiated a $2.8M intra-term restructure to a carrier agreement with the largest private fulfillment provider in the U.S.

  • Successful agency-level award protest of a $15M Federal Government contract with the U.S. Secret Service.

  • Lead negotiator for a $100M GovCon Teaming Agreement and Subcontract.

  • Balanced over 100 active cases as a commercial, real estate, insolvency, government, and criminal defense litigator in the NSW Supreme Court.

  • Represented multi-national manufacturing, tech, and pharmaceutical companies in complex global transactions with DLA Piper's (Am Law 100) Corporate and Commercial Real Estate teams.

  • Selected from DLA Piper's global team to join their 'Signature Projects Panel' to launch a microinsurance initiative in Southeast Asia.

  • Participated in the multi-jurisdictional merger of two major biopharmaceutical corporations, and the acquisition of Australia’s then-largest hotel chain by a Chinese investment group.

  • Drafted legal advice directly to the Australian Federal Government on the use of armed force in detention facilities.

  • Prepared commercial leases and purchase agreements for the world's largest commercial real estate investment groups, and negotiated joint-ventures and memorandums of understanding between multinational charitable organizations and governments.

  • Collaborated with internal Sales/Procurement/Operations teams of Fortune 500 companies to streamline contract workflows and turn-around large volumes of unique contracts under tight deadlines.

  • Clerked for Hon. Judge Garbis in the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland.

  • Attorney in both Maryland, USA and NSW, Australia.

  • Graduated top of his class with a 4.18 GPA.
